If you’re from that neck of the woods (I am) you’re most likely ‘born in Consett’ because your mother had you in Shotley Bridge - which those outside that vicinity will say is ‘Consett’.
 
Cracking lad. Played football with him for five or six years. Very genuine lad, crackers like. he was a mag, but not a match going one too often. Chuffed for him - thought Canada were so impressive last night, really well set up.
be Interesting to see if he gets any offers from English clubs after the World Cup. loves it over there like.

Most of us were dicks at school .
 
John is a fair bit older than me and used to coach the samba stuff when I was young.

His younger brother Marty is a great lad. Nice family in general.
 
Was listening to game on 5 live and the commentator must have mentioned he was a huge mag bellend about 10 times in the first half.🙄

Was 1 of the first 1s to pop up on google. I think he may of had a company clean up his online profile since having a few high profile jobs in football. If you simply google his name nothing comes up but add in bomb hoax you get articles like the 1 you quoted.
