It's piss taking though. People offered lifts, he tweeted last night saying he was sorted then once the owner tweeted he suddenly wasn't sorted and had been up all night worrying how he was to get home.

Not the owners problem at all and pathetic tagging him in it to be honest.

Radged how he kept refusing offers of 2s and 3s as that would involve splitting up.

Beggars can be choosers apparently, if you were desperate you'd take 4 different cars if neccessary.

How is it a better offer? A coach to Oxford and then a hire car from there to drive back home. SD even tweeted saying it will take a bit of organising or a lift home directly from Wembley.

The lift is obviously the easiest and most practical solution.

Stewart Donald's biggest and most important game in charge and instead he's got to fuck about organising transport for people who don't actually need it.

I wonder if he crashed his car on his way to work if he would expect his company to organise him a new car to get home?

The same as these coaches breaking down. It's the coach companies problem to sort, not his. Either have breakdown cover or arrange another coach from wherever they are.

It's endemic nowadays. Someone does a generous gesture and then suddenly they're expected to do it more often. It's more widespread thanks to social media.
 
Someone tweeted him saying they have 4 spare coach tickets as they drove down instead. I wonder if he refuses the coach to Oxford and driving now.

I was always told beggars can't be choosers. From what I gather the lad asked for lifts back from London for him and his 3 mates and was offered lifts from kind hearted Sunderland fans. I might have the story wrong here, but if you're desperate you take whatever help is offered, even if it does break the party up. I would have enjoyed the day then thumbed a lift back, if they're wearing club colours fans are surely going to offer them a lift.
