In between playing for Surrey he is now a columnist at The Times!

“It’s a bit surreal seeing my name in The Times as a published sportswriter. I’ll be writing a diary of a county pro roughly once a month throughout the summer. I’m very grateful to Mike Atherton and Nick Randall for the opportunity!

This first one is a column for anyone who has dreamt of summer in the musty warehouses, Portakabins or indoor halls that characterise cricket in an English winter.”

I’d be very interested to read this documented in a book, quite a few players have done books on that sort of theme and it’s something I’ve always been interested in.
