everyone in the cricket world knows it was a team policy.

CA held an invesigation and ony interviewed 3 players, was laughable, they didnt wanna find out the truth

the main issue now is they've pushed themselves into a corner, Warner basically took the moral punishment, with Bancroft the hitman and Smith the overseeing captain. thats not how it really happened.

they handed year bans to a couple players to take the hit, because they knew theyd have to ban the entire team if they got to it

as the journos have said, if they had just admitted to it all as a team it would be done, but trying to sweep it under the carpet and blame it on warner essentially this was always gonna happen,

the lie is worse than the crime basically

I agree with you but as I said I'm only bothered about it now as to how it effects Bancroft performances at Durham. Whether he wanted to or not he has re-opened a right can of worms.

Love how they say it's time to move on. People will move on once it's properly investigated by Cricket Australia.

As a bowler you would know if the condition of the ball was changing.

They'll have played long enough to know what a 60 over old ball should look like. They are just lying.

I like how they think umpires who looked at the ball once can spot small changes in the ball's condition as well as a bowler who has it for 30-40 balls.

They're always the first to moan to the umpires after it gets hit into the stand and loses its shape.

I was thinking about this.

In the 90s, the Pakistanis were accused of ball tampering and the alleged method was to doctor the ball mid over and then return it to it's normal state at the end of the over, so an umpires check wouldn't detect anything.

I think, but might be wrong, that the Aussies were gradually degrading the ball so that it wouldn't dramatically be altered, but more of a subtle alteration. Again, this would be difficult for the umpire to pick up on.

Only when the pictures emerged of the tampering would the umpires give the ball a more thorough check

Just noticed Mitchell Marsh hasn't put his name to that despite bowling at Newlands. Presumably he's in a tricky spot as a team mate of Bancroft at WA, but if I was being wrongly accused I'd want to clear my name.
 
Langer is a prize c*** as well. The way he went on in that documentary because the England fans had the audacity to boo Australia.
 
It's been obvious since it f***ing happened that the bowlers knew. No bowling attack in the world doesn't know what's happening with their ball :lol:
