Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

Wouldn't put money on him staying fit for long.
This. At first he looked like a total waste of, what I am sure, is a rather ‘healthy’ weekly outlay. Now he is fully fit and looks a decent striker (as he has always done when fit).
Big issue for Leeds is he is made of glass. Will he remain fit long enough to see them build a healthy gap and stay up. If so it’s money well spent. A first class investment.

I knew he was good enough…. Fit enough often enough the issue
I said exactly that on this thread. He's a proper handful. But in the past he's been mostly a handful for the physios. Leeds look like they've got lucky, for now...

After a great start it seems Bournemouth and Palace are slowing down. That doesn't seem to be the case with us, we still look unbeatable at home and extremely hard to beat away. Next game will show us exactly where we are, a clear win will mean we can push for Europe with AFCON players coming back/January signings on the way soon.
Palace suffering, like 85% of the league does, from additional European games.

MSM getting carried away with Mr Lewin....just look at the quality of goals he's scored FFS......he's on a run where he's just had the ball drop for him in 6 yard box, it happens.....it's hardly worthy of a England call up

Think he qualifies for Jamaica through his dad.

Always thought he was a good signing like and just generally liked Leeds signing/approach this summer.

if we can get another 10 points quickly, I might even start wanting them to pick up points to send an established side down

I said I'd have took him 100%... when fit he is quality.

Be a really hard game tbf
Every game is, even the games we’ve won with a good score line have been hard. That West Ham game they should’ve arguably went in one up at half time.

He won’t come up against many centre back pairing likes ours mind. They will relish the fight with him.

DLC clearly hasn’t met our back 4 yet
As much as it’s almost expected to hate dirty Leeds as a Sunderland supporter, most of it for me was taught by my dad rather than anything else. In my lifetime, West Ham have been far more odious and stank up the league far more times, so they can fuck off IMHO there mate.
I don’t like Leeds but I do like them more than West Ham, Burnley and Fulham. I’m pretty neutral on the rest but I do quite like Everton tbh. Villa always seem like a good side too but a bit too posh for me
