I reckon they'll get him back out on loan to a league one club, maybe one with a little bit less pressure than we had.

He done excellent for us until Johnson or the club forced him into the ground. Not the fastest or the best in the air but he could easily skip past 2/3 players and play some lovely passes and on his day he was defensively solid.

Best of luck to the lad for his future, still only 18 so needs to get the right experience to really push on.

Why bother to post such a negative opinion…..the boy played well but suffered from a disorganised defensive strategy and was runinto the ground. He is talented and gave his all…..well done Callum and thank you.

I'd agree with that tbh. Had a full year of men's football under his belt, the game won't be as up n under as last season either. We need a left footed centre back. Knows the club and players already.

Started really well and was a successful loan imo. Johnson ran him into the ground and he needed a spell out of the team long before he did which caused him to start making mistakes. His spell with us will definitely have done him good and made him a better player.

I'd only have him back on a permanent accepting he needs time t develop, time of course is on his side. He shouldn't be getting a first team game however.

Starting the season with a 17 year old centre-back with no senior games under his belt was madness in hindsight. As we saw later in the season a bit of experience and physical strength goes a long way in that position.

Taking everything into account he did pretty well for his first season IMO, had some shockers obviously but that's to be expected at his age. Not sure if he'll make it at Man City but can see him playing lower-PL level later in his career.
