Maybe for the 'lockdown' in a few weeks and to enforce any potential curfew. Victoria in Oz, the army and police do joint patrols to check the papers of old people in parks and joggers. I've heard the Paras will be guarding the playgrounds in Barnes Park and Herrington Park.
