Sure it was Germany or Belgium where I first started it years back. Was mainly while walking to catch the train somewhere. Then it became a nice evening let’s go for a walk and bring a couple travel cans.

It’s the attitude to drinking we have in uk that gets me. People calling me out here for something that’s done everywhere else. I enjoy it I’ll carry on doing it.

It's mainly because Brits just drink to get pissed. Other countries have a different relationship with it, so therefore a different attitude. In this country people think you are a complete piss pot if seen with a drink (i mean you might be tbf) because you drink to get drunk.

Denmark you see people cutting about with a beer in hand even when going into shops etc. They might just have that one beer though.

I sometimes get out for a couple of pints at lunch time. Might switch that for a walk and a can or two.

When kids were babies n sun going down in spain, hoy in pushchair n half hour silent stroll with a cold spanish can, maybe two.

Its not model parenting but beats the McCanns.

I think that's spot on parenting tbh. They get a kip, the parents get exercise and a beer. Usually just park them up beside you at a bar.
