After everything they said at the start of the season don’t let them worm their way out of it. Sunderland have showed them lot how it’s done the majority of the season. All the money all the richest club in the world aiming to be top club in the world by 2030. Easy 6 points, down by Christmas! Hahahahahahha

Aye. They’ve sharp changed their tune throughout the season.

“Record low points & we’ll do the double over you”

“You’ve played no one yet. Your momentum will run out.”

“AFCON will ruin your team and you’ll slide down the table.”

“…you don’t have an airport.”
 
This is exactly why staying up and just bring happy with that is crucial. More important than winning a cup or Europe.

Each season we will pocket a few million more from a top ten place. Each of these seasons will allow us to buy better players yes, but more players crucially which will allow us to rotate and keep the same high level of quality from the XI RLB selects.

This is why clubs like Aston Villa and Crystal Palace can comfortably stay up despite being in Europe too. It takes all of our time and energy and money to stay up as a newly promoted team. They do it with no effort or anything else whatsoever. But I hope in the next few years we can be the same. We will be able to survive either way absolutely no willingness to try and make it happen. It’s easy for them. But it will require a few more million yet. Millions that will only come from staying up - not a cup or European football.
 
You'd have thought they want people to forget that they made history with that 2-7. 😂😂😂 Glad they're reminding us, almost forgot about it.
