Dominated 3/4 of that game. A bit more managerial nous five or ten minutes before their equaliser and some cooler heads during that iffy spell and we go home disappointed with a 0-0 and say it was one of those nights. Somehow conspired to lose it.

Some very good performances from individuals on the night and far more positive signs in defeat than there were in most of the victories last season. Win Saturday and 9 points from 4 is good enough.

Sometimes you don't get what you deserve. Unfortunately we only have ourselves to blame by not taking the chances. This is what fucks up our seasons, by not beating the teams we probably should. We have to get out of this mentality. There is a lot of youth which is great to see, however I think experience let's them down at times, good to see the hunger and desire back though.

We were very good and will only improve. Hope the nuggets don't come out the woodwork and start with the negative spin due to the result.

On another night, we win that by a couple of goals.

Played some decent stuff, just lost composure when it came to finishing and came up against a keeper who sold his soul to the devil.

We move on.

Punished for shocking finishing...3 or 4 easy opportunities to run riot and we blew it...need to sharpen up a lot, last few seasons have shown how important each and every game is and that was one we should have had won before half time.

Probably the best we've played in the three league games so far and to come away with no points. Three/Four one on ones's and we don't score and several other missed chances. Mcgeady was poor for most of the game but picked up near the end, thought Gooch absolutely stank again (one good game in three so far), other than that everybody was decent.
Bad day at the office, but bloody hell we need to take some of these chances, couldn't tell from the angle whether it was the correct call for the offside.

Offside or not, hopefully that doesn’t dominate why we got beat.
Thought we were better than last season, created shit loads of chances.
We struggle with teams that play high on us as we launch it long.
I’m optimistic still
