Annoying as fuck that. We’ll play a lot worse and win games this season. Absolutely battered them.

Don’t think he was offside.
McGeady clearly not up to speed yet.
Cirkin hasn’t lived up to the hype so far.
Dan Neil was excellent.
Doyle needs to stop passing it to their midfielder and putting us under pressure.
Go again Saturday.

Ipswich away in Reids first promotion season. We lost 3-0 via an Alex Mathie hat-trick.

I was at that game and thought we were by far the better team and was convinced we would go up. Sometimes the result isn't the main thing you take from a game. Play like that and we dont have much to worry about.
Agree. I think we'll have more games like that too given the age of the team and the way we're trying to play. We'll also blow a few teams away because we'll take our chances.

It looks like we were done there. But we went missing for a large part of the second half and that made the difference.

Obviously, we didn't deserve to lose, but I doubt we deserved to win, either. What a shitty, shitty league.
We absolutely deserved to win on the balance of chances. We created enough good chances to win three games.

Will sound strange but that was our best performance so far this season. It will click eventually we’ve just got to show patience. We should of been 3 up by half time.
Aye, keep playing like that and we'll have a very good season.

Ball doesn't always go in. Just have to keep making chances

Classic smash and grab by Burton, great performance that, enjoyed that and every single Sunderland player tonight walks off with their heads held high. Burton are very good under hasslebank, and they were bang in form at the end of last season. That’s doesn’t feel like a defeat to me, that’s the team performance I’ve been dying to see from us for a long time. Haway the Lads

Looks off to me , but we can't tell from that single camera angle. Team played well , one of those crazy games, just have to put it behind us.

Unless Flanagan is stood static before the ball’s played in I don’t see how he could be offside like.
