we do but I’m more bothered by our style of play

we will get promoted if this is how we are gonna play

regardless of tonight

Exactly, because we're creating chances.

There'll be times where we're caught and we'll lose 1-0 by teams pressing our centre-backs and then sitting back. But, generally, if we play the ball through the middle and open teams up, we'll do enough to go up.

This is night and day between what we were seeing last season, even when we were on a good run.

When people were getting excited last season I didn’t see it. If people are getting a bit excited by what we’re seeing here then it’s entirely understandable.

We’re playing with intent, purpose, pace and freedom. Not the attritional dirge that seen us pick up wins last season. It’s very, very early days, but if this style of play continues I’m quite happy to say Ill even contently put up with Johnson’s patter! We’ll lose more games than last season but we’ll win more. I’d take that.
