Penalties are less of a talent thing and more of an attitude thing.

Anyone can say they want a pen but in the moment it’s about arrogance and sheer bollocks.

O’Nien is the biggest shithouse we’ve got or Jobe has a swagger about him.

It’s easy after the fact but I never liked an emotional penalty taker, and Wilson is an emotional player for sure. Still love the daft fucker though.

Just not from 22yds anymore thank you.
It’s 12 yards.

People are allowed to be angry at missing 2 penalties. I do not watch SAFC to pamper millionaire footballers, i'll praise them when they do well, i'll criticise them when they do bad. Isidor and his ego have greatly annoyed me tonight, it's not all about you Isidor, let someone else take it, my friend. You put yourself in that position and only have yourself to blame, I hope it humbles you. 3 points and promotion is infinitely more diserable to me than your ego.

Agree but it isn't a straightforward answer. Did Darren Bent miss one then score one when we played Spurs? I remember David Connolly missing against Burnley at our place and getting another pen that same game and putting it away, the pressure must be huge for the second one.
Difference being those were established penalty takers.
Not just someone taking his first for the club because the last taker recently missed one.

Lining the same player that just missed a penalty for a 2nd penalty in the same match just seems nonsensical to me.
His head is going to be all over the place.
It makes no sense at all.
Because they judged him to be the nest penalty taker and likely goal scorer. Just because you missed one doesn't mean you should never take another. He will probably be off them after the second however

Better team, good point although it doesn’t feel it at the moment. Le Fee looks like he is going to be brilliant for us, would love to see him more central though. Wilson will need a goal soon as to get his mojo back. Enzo on pens from now on.

How do Sunderland manage to ruin my weekend before it's really began... with a draw away to Burnley as well... would have taken your hands off for that all week but now it feels like a bad loss. Drinking myself to sleep tonight thanks to Wilson.
At least Enzo did not get injured on his debut!

I get it but it's not beyond the realms of possibilities.
Remember when Connolly missed against Burnley in our promotion season. Got a second penalty in that game, he took it and wrote the wrongs. It happens. One this occasion he missed. I get why he took it though

Their goalkeepers antics has Scott Parker all over it. The need for skullduggery and time wasting and cheating is the hallmark of someone like him and an ex player who is used to playing in the Premier League.

Glad all the cucky happy clappers are buzzing with their point.

Jesus. Our fans are a joke, they have played a hell of a part in the dogshit we have endured since BSA left.
Waah waaah we’re only top 4, waah waah we only beat Portsmouth 1-0 and didn’t beat one of the league favourites at their home ground waah

Go see if your Mam will give you some calpol to calm you down before bed mate
