That was a mental decision to let him take the 2nd pen, you could see his head was gone from missing the first. Every time the camera was on Wilson in those last 10 mins he looked shot.
Should of reversed the psychology on Trafford after he looked at his bottle and changed the penalty taker

Agree but it isn't a straightforward answer. Did Darren Bent miss one then score one when we played Spurs? I remember David Connolly missing against Burnley at our place and getting another pen that same game and putting it away, the pressure must be huge for the second one.
Agree mate, but his body language didn't look great to me. Fair play to him for stepping up, but ffs 🤣

To be fair I’m not sure who else would take them. If Rigg was on the pitch for me he takes them. Roberts recently missed a huge one.

We don’t have a lot of goal scoring talent in the team sadly.
If a professional footballer cannot score from 12yds out they should hang their heads in shame.

Thats down to poor coaching. You pick the four corners of the goal and practice hitting them at pace.

Penalties are less of a talent thing and more of an attitude thing.

Anyone can say they want a pen but in the moment it’s about arrogance and sheer bollocks.

O’Nien is the biggest shithouse we’ve got or Jobe has a swagger about him.

It’s easy after the fact but I never liked an emotional penalty taker, and Wilson is an emotional player for sure. Still love the daft fucker though.

Just not from 22yds anymore thank you.
I'm really surprised jobe hasnt got involved with set pieces in general.
Top players tend to work their balls off getting good at them.

Why he stood there waiting for the keeper on the first I'll never know. Just put the ball down and walk away and wait until he's in goal. I like Isidor but not professional to lose your head like that after missing a penalty.
