The lack of leaders on the pitch has never been so evident.

Wilson was absolutely shitting himself before the 2nd penalty. Somebody has to pull rank and take the ball. He was a mess.
I would have honestly rather seen Onien or Hume put their boot through it. A can’t believe they let him take the 2nd one as well.

We will get over today quickly enough if we beat Derby and Plymouth this week coming. That’s the good thing about the league there’s lots of games.

We played OK tonight against a good side. I think we’re a bit one dimensional in that it’s get it down and play on the floor in and around them. We don’t score from set plays, crosses and headers aren’t a thing either. Going long it normally comes straight back. We’re doing so well in the league because we’re better footballers than the other teams.

Absolutely right to let Isidor take the second penalty. His confidence would have taken a hammering if it had been taken by someone else. In all honesty though Le Fee should have taken them both because in the future he will be our penalty taker.

Embarrassing that match thread after Wilson missed the second penalty. Yes they were shit, but the lad had the balls to take the second to try and correct the first.

Lad looks genuinely gutted but there's far too many people in the match thread gone WAY over the top to chastise and berate the lad.

Can we get behind our players like? Emotions are clearly high after that but the way some gan on. f***ing hell, hang your heads embarrassing.

Get behind the lads! Youngest, most talented squad we've maybe ever had. Ha'way man!
Three cheers for Isidor!

Looked like he was playing out of position. Some really good moments - the pass for Wilson was outrageous, but faded after 65 and should have been subbed.

When Mundle / Watson are back Regis is going to have to be brave and pick 3 from Rigg Jobe Enzo Samed and Neil. Can’t shoehorn four of them in to get them on the pitch and upset the balance.
Has to be Neil Jobe and Enzo for me with rigg coming off the bench or rotating with Jobe but realistically Jobe is going to start every game and so he should at the minute

I’ll be pissed off if we persist with Enzo out wide

You should at least consider it.
Agree but it isn't a straightforward answer. Did Darren Bent miss one then score one when we played Spurs? I remember David Connolly missing against Burnley at our place and getting another pen that same game and putting it away, the pressure must be huge for the second one.

well, hopefully he's no longer the allocated penalty taker
May be the case. But he was obviously chose as the perceived best option before the end of today's game. If your main striker and goal scorer misses one, you are still likely to give him the second one.

Unfortunately Isidor is simply not a good penalty taker. You could see the keeper moving along the line before he hit it. Isidor is a head down hit it into a corner he's already decided.l type. Need to have a slow run up and slot it into opposite corner. Thought Le Fee would have stepped up for the second. Good point overall though despite the disappointment.

They were insanely bad pennas. Fair enough first one, everyone makes mistakes... second one... exactly the same thing. Unforgivable... never gets another penna for us again imo.
