Thought we were good. Soaked up Thier first 20 minutes grew into the game and started to ask questions and go through our phases. This game could have been lost in those first 20 so I think we've been patient and clever. Keeping our shape and grafting off the ball. Enzo, Neil, jobe, Rigg have been covering some yardage. Some really professional performances out on the pitch so far. Cirkin is a worry but he isn't game sharp in my opinion. Robert does drift in and out of games, a more open games gives him the space this game isn't that at the moment. I've got a feeling we will pinch this!

Patto has shown he’s a very decent shot stopper. He’s improved as well in coming for balls and crosses. His distribution is terrible though and needs work. Still very young, especially for a keeper and you’d hope that can be worked on. I think it’s more obvious how bad this aspect of his game is because of the insistence of using him to play out from the back with the ball at his feet.
Gonna have to learn quick. If/ when we go up the strikers in the prem are faster and press way more

Yeah, tbf, he's very disciplined in his shape. He plugs the gaps.

The only notable attacks down our right have been after individual errors where we've been caught in transition.

Their best outlet has been the long ball over the top to Anthony.
DC keeps getting caught under the ball. His heads up his arse.

I’d go: 4-3-1-2

Common sense.

I don't think so. Without natural width, that opportunity in behind will lessen.

We don't want to clog up the middle because they've a load of big strong fuckers in there.

Common sense.

We're struggling on the flanks and you'd take players away from that area?

We've been poor but credit to Burnley, they've pressed us early and we've made mistakes, especially both full backs. They did tire towards the end of the first half and I'd expect after the initial 10 minutes or so of the second half we'll be back to having a little more time on the ball. Le Fee is wasted out wide - Aouchiche very unlucky to lose his place I think. I'd have him on and get Mayenda on for Roberts.

No end product.

Most assists this season.
Most chances created.

Bore off man.

Shoots when he should cross. Crosses when he should shoot. Can't use his weak foot. Looks so lazy at times.

I bet a decent RW like whittaker in this side would show you how shit Roberts really is in the final 3rd.

Roberts the man off at the minute, offering nothing defensively and can’t be the out ball.

Le Fee looks like he’s got decent distribution but hamstrung by being stuck on the left as he only has one way to play it.

Decent half, Burnley came out at us which isn’t like them, after 20 minutes they ran out of ideas and we grew into it.

Keep it tight for 10-15 minutes this half (in Sunderland like) and they won’t know what to do.
