Played two games with something close to a full strength first eleven and there was only something like one game postponed.

It was a bollocks reason then and a bollocks reason now. for much of it we were playing fringe players keeping them fit and kids, with also the odd player coming back from injuries. all in all it was a good cup run, not season defining.

Aiden McGeady getting injured after relying on him so much in the second half of the season was the defining moment and our form fell away with his injury even though he kept trying to play. without him our form and goalscoring prowess was largely dogshit.

Obviously there was other reasons why we ended up relying on him so much, but if you're looking for season defining things, that was pretty much as close as you will get.

That a long way of saying you dont share that opinion 🤣

Don’t believe the checkatrade final costing us promotion like. Won the next 2 games, Ross should have seen the warning signs against burton but repeated it against Coventry. 4 points out of those two games and we probably would have gone up.

What a joke some people are man, grigg doesnt score and hes shit, he scores and its aw well he didnt celebrate right  go on grigg lad stick it to them

I don’t care if he bursts into tears and hates playing for us, as long as he begins to put in the effort and do his job to the best of his ability I will be happy.

I reckon he will hate being third choice and picked to start in a ‘weakened’ team. It is up to him to change the manager’s mind. I hope he starts scoring for fun and begins to enjoy it. He may just be an aloof character of course but he did seem to enjoy scoring for Wigan.

Go cringe in the corner because we're drawing with little old Burnley.

Ps. You fuck off
We weren't drawing at the time. And like you I was commenting on only what I was listening too. The picture which was being painted at the time of my post was we were being outclassed. I commented that it showed how far we had fallen. We have fallen so far and as I said, I hope the takeover changes things. I really don't understand your problem, keyboard warrior?

Our second string are drawing away to a strong looking Premier league side ..... and some people are STILL finding things to whinge and fight about?

Haway man. Get a grip.

I don't think anyone is taking anything from this match seriously.

The only thing I wanted when I saw the line-up was a Grigg goal for some confidence, so i'm happy now regardless.
