I have to say, releasing tickets a day before the game is ridiculously stupid.

They’re one technical error / glitch away from a huge issue.

Hopefully if it turns into issues tomorrow some fan group will contact them avout how to get duplicates as I think chris waters is pretty much uncontactable now

All away tickets need to be assigned to a number, so presumably whoever bought them and assigned the kid a ticket will have a strong relationship set up in order to manage the kids tickets.

If you can just screenshot the QR code then not a lot will change I guess. A good first step to stopping it though

When he got to the turnstile one of the kids tickets was blocked, so he got sent to the ticket office. They unblocked it straight away, but the lass told him they were doing random checks for people going in on kids tickets. He's a bit of a tit like, so wasn't sure to believe him or not.

I know Newcastle definitely do random checks when they are playing away in general so it’s possible

This , I’m sure people will always have a moan about a new process and can’t have a go at club for that , but sending them day before game when it will be difficult for fans to sort any issues with rugby on is nuts

The tickets will be in the account of whoever bought them , but anyone in your network can access them too

I’ve been putting buses on for away jaunts for years, and definitely used other people’s numbers in the past. That’s always gonna happen.

But I’d never sell any to make money for myself.
