Brobbey


Absolutely superb again, bloke is an animal. Hard to believe he’s so young. Should have had a goal tonight but for a good save and a fresh air shot. He must be vile to play against.
 
Most strikers are judged on goals (yes they are important). But we have a striker who doesn’t need to score 15-20 goals a season to have a big impact. Earlier on in the season I was thinking it’s a shame Brobbey isn’t 6.2ft. Now I’m convinced he wouldn’t be as effective with his backing in and hold up play if he was. He’s backing into defenders what are much bigger than him into there mid rift rather than upper body what is obviously stronger and they don’t have a clue how to handle him. No one else in the league has a Brobbey, as Thierry Henry said he’s an old school Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank style striker!

Looks a decent player and holds the front line superbly well.
Just fits your style of play. Allows the midfield to push up in numbers. Not only is he physically strong he is not a slow lump.

Its that thats the difference in our recruitment atm. Its like we have plans and plans of what to do in every circumstance.

Adingra wants to leave, we have someone lined up. We surprisingly need a striker but havent yet got the winger we wanted. Don't worry we'll sign the best hold up striker in the world and a winger with Premier league experience for the same money

Yeah. Every so often a team pushes on to roefs and he just clears the whole team

It’ll be muscle density or something. You’re right, he’s clearly muscular but it’s not like he’s the tallest and broadest players around

Never looks happy , don’t think I’ve seen him smile yet.

He’s an absolute brute of a player , just glad he’s on our side.
