Both could be huge losses, Broad was excellent in the South Africa game. Tremlett likely to be called up as replacement, not convinced by him at ODI level as of yet, lacks a bit of variety and bowls too short, can get away with it at test level with attacking fields but not so much in limited overs cricket.

I certainly haven't heard he has. I guess there are no guarantee's he will walk straight into the team given Shahzad is already out there, but I suspect they will be wanting a bang in bowler a bit like Broad and he will play on Friday.

Tremlett went out with the original squad and has stayed out there so has been practising with the team. Interesting to see who we select now

Actually now you mention it he has been a named reserve since the squad was announced so that would make sense. I confidently predict Tremlett will jump past Shahzad and into the starting line-up for Friday due to his similar style to Broad.
