Not sure about that as they were apparently documenting their travels and interviewing locals. That might not be spying in this country yet but it might be in IRAN particularly in the current climate.

You can. You call also have sympathy and empathy too. Bit like how chartity workers etc went out to Iraq, got kidnapped and had their heads chopped off. You'd have to be a complete odd ball not to feel for them even if it was a risky decision to go out.

I'd also add that charity work is more worthwhile than a motorbike holiday.
