Brennan Johnson (signed for Palace)

I do mate. That Man utd set up by Le Bris killed him tbh, confidence wise. He looked canny on the right, the little amount he played there. Him on the right and Mundle on the left I reckon.
whenever he comes on he always looks class i reckon.
There’s something about him I don’t like.
Can’t put my finger on it.
didn't he give it the big un after the lincoln play off game?

Prefer both of them and Talbi and Mundle over paying £50m+ for a player who is largely inconsistent.
I get your argument but he'd bfar more regularly productive than them as well, I'd rather someone who cost 50 and got us 10 goals that's genuinely the difference between mid table and Europe, and I am a fan of talbi and mundle.
But isn't doing it this season.
Not playing as much
In your opinion maybe. Never been that impressed with him tbh.
10goals plus is difference in getting Europe potentially

He’s a strange one, I don’t think he’s been giving much of a run and chance at spurs. He was great at forest but looks like he likes London etc and doesn’t seem as focused as he was at forest. Would cost a huge sum and although he probably is better than we have not sure the cost and the gamble is worth it.

No, but sooner or later we are going to need to start buying the odd homegrown player.

Those players are generally terrible value, so will probably have to be either an up and coming player from the championship or a rehabilitation project from the premier league IMO.

Johnson kind of fits that bill for the latter, though if probably prefer we went for the former.
