Seen a report (from football insider) that he’s almost certainly away from Blackburn in Jan.

Tony Mowbray was talking about him the other day, and has obviously worked with him in the past so inevitably rumours we might move to sign him.

Meant to be a decent player, but do we really need him given how many attacking midfield / number 10 type players we have already?

Unless Pritchard or Embleton are off I can’t see it. Anyone who knows more about him, is he a step up from those two?

28 although out of contract next summer. Very much feels like the plan is to let the current squad of young players find their level though.

If Blackburn genuinely want rid there’s every chance it might be a free transfer. They didn’t pay loads for him and he’s served them well over the years.

In which case it would fit our model. Especially if we can get a fee for Pritchard or Embleton.
