Said that K.P. bottled it.When a patient innings was needed he couldn't do it as the experienced batsman.

Many people to have a go at as well as KP. He's not the only one who has become complacent and fucked up. The management has, the bowling coaches have, the batting coaches have etc. Its a collective failure.

It will make no difference to him. That is how he plays. I personally think he is not as good as he thinks he is.

Can't stand boycott personally, know it all Yorkshire man.

Probably only thinking that K.P will beat his amount if runs for England.

Just because someone doesn't play the way Geoffrey did, makes them a liability. I know who I would rather watch.

You'd rather watch KP play like a twat ?

Kim Hughes on KP yesterday, think he's spot on -

Hughes had his battles with Dennis Lille and Rod Marsh (“great mates now”) and was cutting about Pietersen. “He has let him [Cook] down. In three innings he has looked in good form but his ego gets in the way and that is why he is not a great player. He plays great innings but he is not a great player. To get out to three shots like that when his team needed him was poor. It was just arrogance that ‘I am going to get away with it’. Great players do not do that.”

He's spot on, getting himself out with impatient rash shots all the time, a far cry from the double century he scored in 2011

Also, why the fuck we didn't take Compo to frustrate the new ball bowlers and take the leather off the ball is beyond me. Heads should roll[DOUBLEPOST=1387107946][/DOUBLEPOST]

He can fuck off. I don't see them leveling the same criticism at Warner, it's all 'that's the way he rolls'. The Australian pundits are part of Lehman's win at all costs total war approach.

aye scoring at 2 runs an over thats going to win the square root of fuck all england are being cowed by the aussies someone has to try and break their grip

The ashes have gone but we've been bullied by those nasty aussies. They aren't a good team, we're just a pale shadow and I do think the national set up needs a good shake up. Matt Prior has had no competition for long enough, Jimmy Anderson is living on past achievements, Pietersen doesn't do it enough and Cook's trying to do too much.

Boycott is spot on, 20:20 shots not slow run making have cost us the first two and a half tests. Why did we need to turn up and bray the ball all over, the Ashes were theirs to win back?

Agreed and our reaction to it has been feeble.

dont see anything out of character in his shot selection its how hes always played at this level. The only time any of our 'batsmen' have looked anything like is when we have faced them down and taken the game to them. I do believe there has been a deliberate effort for the batsmen to come out of the shells they had withdrawn into in this test but its too little too late

Think there's one or two people on here commenting who didn't hear everything he said.

He was absolutely 100% spot on. What's more, he's had a go at most of the players during the Test/Series and he's been spot on about that too.

Knows his onions does Sir Geoffrey. All he wants is for England to do well. He calls it exactly how he sees it.

I said this earlier in the series, time for KP to start being an England player rather than playing for KP.

The fact others haven't is irrelevant, he is allegedly our most naturally talented batsman.

You can see Sir Geoff's frustration, cos dull as it was to watch, he was superb at grinding out an innings when required, draining the will to live from the bowling attack, the crowd, and even his own teammates :D He could stay at the crease for days if needed, or so it seemed.

flat track bully

quite a few of them in this side

the flat tracks of Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth haven't been bullied by Pietersen or any of our players.

Dont subscribe to that notion at all. So many of our players are out of form and psychologically theyre finished in this series

Until a more talented player like Botham decided fuck this, and ran him out cos it was the only hope of actually winning the game
