To the three Bournemouth lads who told Sunderland fans, on leaving the stadium, "Your'e down," and said it with such relish and total disregard for the way the home fans felt: enjoy your short stay in the Premiership. I'm sure your massive 10,000 crowds will diminish to the usual five or six thousand when you are back where you deserve to be in the lower echelons of the football league.
This almost caused an incident, but the police quickly intervened. Cretinous behaviour from thoughtless morons! So much for the brotherhood of supporters and that unwritten understanding!
Three kids nearly caused an incident? Fuck me gently.

I refer to an earlier post on the "Good luck to all of you" thread where I said..

Thank you. It is seeing some of your fellow City fans clapping us Sunderland fans on the coach I was on depart Wembley that restored my faith in the sportsmanship of football fans. They aren't all the kind to revel in your fall. I will never forget that. That is BIG in this day and age.

My post proves why sportsmanship in this day and age is BIG. It is in stark contrast to Bournemouth fans who, I was going to write my post, I bet relished sending us down. It is worth bearing in mind your own position before laughing at others. Their success has made them blind, naive and ignorant. They may think they have this league licked but they don't. They think that all you have to have is a manager with a simple way of managing the team, a bit or organisation, a bit of confidence and a good grasp of passing and tackling etc. and you will stay up. Not so. Unless they invest big money soon they will drop like a stone I am predicting. They will stagnate in the lower reaches of mid-table doing little, blissfully unaware that it is not good enough in itself and they may well soon be overtaken by several to the point where they plummet to be one of the perennial struggler's.

Sound a lot like what will happen to us next season.

What is conveniently forgotten by Man United supporters is the level of piss taking of Sunderland when we were relegated at Old Trafford on 15 points. From getting into Manchester at lunch time on that good Friday, through the match and afterwards, they were giving us pelters. Absolutely fair enough but then to hold that grudge about piss taking when they lost the title (bless them, missing out on that one title after being starved of success...) is embarrassing. Seen loads of stuff on social media from them talking about karma and what have you.

Just have to take the rough with the smooth in football. For clubs like Sunderland, usually have to take more tough

If Man Utd had won the title that year the Sunderland fans would have applauded them off the pitch (they won't acknowledge that) they did not and so we took the piss. It was not like we won that game by some well dodgy goal and stopped them winning the title. So Man Utd not winning the title, us being relegated is karma, what planet are these people on ?

It's ironic then they they could help us by pushing Swansea closer to relegation.
