Boro thread

Boro fans are still posting on here and there's a Sunderland thread on our board.

Read the first page then gave up

Be interesting to hear their comments if Boro ever went up. Bet they’d be certs to stop up.

“lost last 4 of last 5 friendlies, only scored 2 in those games, Isidor not played any games , unproven players coming in from many different places. Looks like an expensive mess right now, strong rumours of Enzo already kicking off with Bris about some differences.”

Tbf that's fairly balanced. Much more reasonable than last season when they thought none of our players would get a game for them, when in reality the opposite was true. Looks like they've been put in their place, maybe we can be mates now.

Last time we played Doncaster in front of 38k wasn't exactly a pleasant experience in the pub league and getting hit for 5 at home to Stoke in the championship was no fun either. Our recent record in the league and fa cups where illustrious teams such as Preston, Mansfield twice, Stoke and Crewe have swept us aside in front of meagre crowds where team selection representing a Sunderland team merely illustrated the complete lack of depth. Whether Rob Edwards is an improvement on Michael Carrick remains to be seen but the Doncaster manager has a nice problem selecting his strongest team this weekend after last night. Sunderland and Boro unfortunately don't seem to give their respective head coaches these problems.

Quite complimentary really. You can usually have a conversation with a Boro supporter, much more difficult with a mag
