Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth and Keith Downie:Middlesbrough have agreed a deal with Ipswich to sign central defender George Edmundson on a permanent deal.
Fee understood to be worth more than £1m including performance related add-ons.
Ipswich had recalled him from his loan spell at Middlesbrough as the clubs couldn't agree a fee.
But he will now return to Boro on what's believed to be a two-and-a-half-year contract.
They are really nailing down players that definitely can't make the step up to PL level.
