Agree that it's a weird thing to go on about, like I said people support whoever they support - it really doesn't matter.I’ve never came on here and bragged about how many Sunderland fans there are on Teesside but it’s weird for Boro fans to be on here trying to say there’s barely any. Dunno why it bothers anyone. There are plenty in Stockton and Billingham has a much higher number than that as well.
Not at all mate. I’m just making the point that we wouldn’t be able to get buses / coaches on starting from Stockton if the demand wasn’t there for it. Similarly, I know a decent number of Newcastle fans around here too.Agree that it's a weird thing to go on about, like I said people support whoever they support - it really doesn't matter.
Obviously you will know of Sunderland fans on Teesside (being one yourself ?), all I'm saying is that i dont know of many Sunderland fans in the central Stockton area, but know there's more as you go further north (Billingham etc).
It just seems a weird thing to try to 'point score' over.
Some folk live away from the weirside area but support Sunderland - similarly I know of quite a few Boro fans in County Durham (including myself).
Does any of it really matter?
Train is always packed when I get on from horden mind so they are coming from somewhere south of Peterlee every week. Not at all mate. i got on at hartlepool last season and was full of them losers all dressed in black with sun glasses on 'ultras' they were all in one section and had a couple of coppers with them, no trouble, singing but not harming anyone, just looked very silly all dressed in black, some even had balaclavas on.I got on at Seaton Carew for Sheff W, there was quite a few on already. Early train.
Those who get on this train would you still use it for Boro match? Or wiser to make alternative plans?
