Boro thread

Aye yet yous still couldn’t fill ya ground

Local owner ripping his fans, canny
Filled it for the comeback in the semi-final though, was such a memorable night, so forgive me for not looking back with regret over the fact we didn't fill our stadium every home match that season.

The ref needs to remember this is top level sport where emotions get very high, imagine we get him again this season! Snipers on the roof & all kinds.

Hopefully he'll have the sense to ask the FA not to referee our games in the future unless he's got the skin of a Rhino but doubt it

It’s in the same clip, just after the elbow into the face.

it wasn’t just two players going in for the ball though was it? Your player deliberately lead with his elbow into Ballard’s face. Ballard’s reaction and the melee afterwards tells its own story.

Glad we’re agreed that an elbow into the face of an opponent is a red card offence.
I said a deliberate elbow. I didn’t see one and neither did any of the officials or even Mowbray who must have been pretty close to it. I’ll have another look at the match this evening and give you an honest assessment when I’ve viewed it all again

Whatever.
Basically, you had a player sent off for two yellows - both correctly given .
Your team then couldn't adapt to the situation and were absolutely played off the park for ALL of the second half.

There's barely a weekend goes by without someone getting sent off - it happens, it happened to us at your place last season, remember ?

Not Boro's or the refs fault that your team (or manager) failed to cope with it
