Agree with all of that. We should do better even down to ten but we threadbare in the middle and at fullback so limited options.

That’s teesside mate boro Stockton Redcar for me is the same thing and effectively a city contribution. Boro and Redcar in particular as if you live there you’ll just say your from boro but take into account added Hartlepool and darlo onto it gives it like 670,000 people were left with about 500k they have 800,000 a big difference

Sunderland had better chances first half but was pretty even. And first 20 mins boro comfortable and dominated the ball I thought Sunderland would come out get the crowd onside and go at us due to our defensive frailties obviously red changed the game but still they collapsed and we had a job to do still. Sunderland probably still better team on paper but still a transfer window to go. Definitely could be this seasons play off final todays game this league is more wide open every season.

Boro were by far the better team today. A man down shouldn’t have resulted in a 4-0 hone defeat. Best team I’ve seen in this division this year, they just clicked.

I have it when sunderland play well and the other team claim “we didn’t turn up” etc. if we did to Boro what they’ve just done to us we would be over the moon. Credit where it’s due lads…

Truth be told they were more professional than us on the day and deserved the win...
Did it hurt? Not any more than getting battered off Stoke last season... truth is they're as relevant to us as any other team in the championship... I mean ffs , I even wanted them promoted by beating Luton.

Could I ever say that about the mags?

Very well said, especially when compared the wums who had vanished for weeks prior to today

Think the quality of the teams is very even too in all honesty even with the poor start your lot have had

They well and truly dominated us when we went down to 10 men. First half was quite even although id say we were the better side

I still dont get how we set up that 2nd half mind. And resorted to just hitting it long with nothing to hit

Weve bounced back everytime after a bad defeat so hopefully we can do it against stoke and neil in a very long 2 weeks time!
