Hopefully like last year the new last start to get into gear after a bunch of appearances. I remember it sorta clicked at Watford last year with a number of them. I suppose that' the hope/goal of the recruitment strategy to some degree.
 
coventry and boro were bottom of the table last season and got play offs. dunno why people read so much into things after only 4 games

Does any1 think preston getting play offs? Nah

After their upturn in form last year I thought carrick had the makings of a top manager. Then when we played them at the SoL we were by far the better team. We were due a result against them anyway but they never got going in that one. Every team can have an off day but his post match comments were bizarre. He saw a completely different game to everyone else and was adamant the red card wasn’t one. They lost the appeal which backed up the refs call. Maybe it was just sour grapes but seemed more like deflection tactics for his team not turning up in a ‘derby’.
