Hendon and Grangetown 2 sides of the same coin (could throw in Fenham, Cowgate, Red Hall, tilery and take your pick in Hartlepool aswell) there’s cesspits in all the big north east towns/citiesNOWHERE is rougher than Middlesbrough, that's why there's security cameras on every street and most windows are made of wood.
[/QUOTE]boro is definitely rougher. The boy is at uni through there he’s had his car windows smashed three times ,can’t walk down the street even during the day without someone offering him gear.Got jumped last week by two smackheads trying to pinch his phone luckily he trains with a mate doing mma so he managed to choke one out unconscious and the second backed down when he saw his mate lying spark out - not a nice place at all

I live in a decent area of Boro, having lived in Sunderland for 40 years.Sunderland and Middlesbrough are 2 similar places which are both saved by having decent people in them. I’d say 20 years ago Middlesbrough was rougher but I’d actually say now Sunderland was the rougher

Sunderland city centre is improving by the day. Cranes are all over the skyline. The riverside area and the area around the SOL will be very different in 5 years time.I live in a decent area of Boro, having lived in Sunderland for 40 years.
Boro is definitely rougher, by a long way.
And boy do we fill pages confirming it!Bizarre like, I've never known any Sunderland fan to have a strong dislike of Boro. It's one way as fuck, does anyone on here really care who goes up if not us?
Luton for me, fuck Coventry and fuck Boro.
I would have rather Boro went up if not usAnd boy do we fill pages confirming it!
Means more to the lads in the south of the area - Sedgefield/Billingham etc.
The center of boro is canny. Better than Sunderland for shopping by a mile.
