They had us relegated by Christmas on their forum -with our players leaving
We were down to our 9th choice ( Cattermole ) after everyone else turned us down !before Reggie was appointed ..

And as I've pointed out, you haven't achieved anything yet. Still could turn out that we both finish in the play-offs and then who knows what will happen.

Long way to go yet.

Lots of this long way to go yet being thrown about. Noticed you mention it most weeks. We're halfway there now. Not as long to go as you think. These next three matches will be very telling for both sides.

Boro should be looking at 6 points at least but Sheffield Wednesday are flying, Burnley are second in the league and Hull should be a nailed on three points for you.

Aye I'm sure the majority thought you'd be relegated by christmas. You keep telling yourself that if it gives you some sort of satisfaction.

I think many thought Sunderland fans were getting carried away by your good start, as the same thing happened last season and you ended up nowhere near the play-offs. Most probably thought you'd eventually drop out of the play-offs and finish just outside them.

It's looking like that isn't going to be the case, but as I've said, it won't matter who finishes above who in the end if we both finish in the play-offs.

It's looking like 5th or 6th place will be the best we can hope for. You are going to be in with a shout of automatic promotion but my gut feeling for a while has been Sheff Utd and Leeds for the top two. We'll have to see.

you’re gonna be sick as fuck if we Finnish in autos. Apparently our squad is weak and we won’t cope with injuries and suspensions. We’re been in the thick of that for weeks and our bad run with a few draws with half the first team injured and suspended is now looking stronger with players coming back soon. Boro play nice football but they’re weak. Why you concede so many. Your defense will undo you. I don’t think you’ll spend a single day this whole season above us….

Yeah course I'll be sick, just as many Sunderland fans would be if Boro finished in the autos (except they wouldn't be because they don't care about Boro). That's football though. Let's just see what happens.
