Boro away tickets

I'm guessing that away fans will be held back for quite a while this year - there are road works where they are building a new bridge at the North end so everyone has to leave by the same route which the police probably won't be too happy about.

Well if using this logic that we all leave the same way then we must all arrive at the ground the same way. So I'm sure the police have tactics in place for our arrival and departure if there isbonky one entry/exit to the ground.

We were held back last year but it was no longer then 20 minutes or so.

Anyone reckon this will go to ten points? Got two SCs with less than 20 on and in two minds about going.
Of course it will. As others have said it will likely go to 0 points - not sure it will make general.....all depends how many we batter Brentford by:cool:

How long do they keep fans back for? My trains at half 4 and the game will finish at what, 3?
I travel from Leeds to get there, drink round Boro before the game and after, never had any bother before.

do you just walk freely to and from the away then?

Anyone have a bit more specific info about this....Only enquiring because we booked the following trains on the assumption that we'd be out the ground at full-time, approx. 2;05 ish....Our timetable is 2;34 train from Boro to Darlo. arr, 2;59 then onto the 3;o8 to Edin........Miss these trains means and its going to cost us a fortune to travel on later ones....

That'll be tight mind. Match will finish 14.00/14.10 then it's 15 mins or so walk back to the station and that's without a hold back.

Walking to the ground was absolutely fine, I'd just advise no colours if you usually do. After the game you will be kept behind with everyone, then the police will let you on your way when the smogs have all dispersed. With it being an early kick off this season I reckon there may be a police escort back to the station for those wanting to get the train back rather than bus, could be wrong though.

They got brayed by a handful of Sheffield United fans the other week. Anyone making their own way there and doing what they want to do beforehand will be fine.

Got my ticket for Boro today, got home and it was soaking wet and the stub has come off.

Anyone know if the ticket office will change it for me?

No just some don't see it as much of a derby
They did in 70s and 80s.
That game in 81 when Sunlun were everywhere. Easily 7k there.

Fa cup 75 possibly 8/9k there and we were still Div 2 at the time.

Whats it like making my own way there rather than club buses? Am going to be getting the train in from sheffield, will i have any bother walking to the away end from the station and getting away after?
I wouldn't bet against it.

No. The ticket office receive a batch of tickets from the home club. Any that get lost need to be reprinted at the home club just before kick off

My first Boro derby. Behind the Home dugout shouting giraffe neck at big Jack Charlton as a raucous 10 year old. Never got molested or nowt.

Another born in the "class of 65"
