You reckon? I think this sets us up for him to sign subject to medical and then fail it! I've been fairly confident he'd sign all summer but a kick in the teeth is never far away when you support Sunderland!

I suspect it has suited Borini and his agent to wait and see what other interest is out there, but that it may have become apparent that there is no other interest from Serie A or the Premiership at that price.

The longer its gone on the more confident I am he would sign.
If he didn't want to be here it would of been dead and buried by now.

Obviously boiled down to ££ if he comes or not.
