I just wish we'd either sign him or pull out.

This lingering around is doing no-one any good. We should start to look towards other targets.

I'm no expert on players, but i'm sure for the Borini money we could get a decent striker in.

So you'd cut your nose to spite your face?

In the world of business (football is exactly the same) you don't just have one deal on the go and sit waiting for answers on it. SAFC will already be looking at other targets and possibly have even submitted offers for them.

Staggering how many supporters think having no patience is a wise thing.

There's still a limited amount of you have to sign the players though. It's no good if you are waiting on target A only to miss out on target B too, because of indecision.

At this stage of the season they should be working every day of the week - even if working means taking prospective players and their agents out for a Sunday lunch ........
Aye and why would there prospective agents be at work? It's a national day off Sunday man nobody hardly ever works

im not certain liverpool want him to go (Rogers that is) but because of the money are/were happy to do so, if a replacement could be got. which in Remy's case is off now. A interview on SSN regards Remy with a reporter said Borini had said he didnt want to move to sunderland, they never said anything else on the subject though so its difficult to suggest if it was rubbish or not.

as so many weeks have passed now with no movement at all from Borini, im like most now, lets move on to someone else now. I like Borini, he's been a great asset to us last season but he's never said that he would like to play for us outright. Hopefully he wont use us like a stepping stone as others have done.

The longer this saga rolls on, the more I find myself questioning the fee. Up to £14million for a lad who doesn't fancy us. Yet we're crying out for added quality in midfield and the centre of defence. I simply hope by the time the window closes we've done enough, with or without Borini.

If it's true that he's (unofficially) turned us down again, then I think that he plans on sitting on the bench and running his contract down.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this one go through in January (at a lower fee). Borini was surplus to requirements there last season, and although they sold Suarez they have added Lambert, Llalana, Markovic, Origi (although he is on loan for a year) and still actively looking to recruit.

Why, we are a stepping stone!!

"So many weeks have passed with no movement at all from Borini...."

Our bid was only accepted 10 days ago.......

Why do people get so hung up on him supposedly thinking he's too good for us having an adverse affect on his performances?

Do you think he's just going to stroll around the pitch thinking that he can't be arsed?

I like how Borini's twitter picture is of him playing for us and not Liverpool

has this been the case all summer or has he recently changed it?
