Borini

I started a Borini thread myself(only one) days ago. It was merged in with all the others, no doubt as this one will.

In my opinion too many subjects were merged and now it's just a load of illegible waffle. Given the size and complexity of this signing it would've been quite valid to have 4 or 5 separate thread topics on Borini.

As things stand i honestly haven't got a f**king clue what's happening with Borini and i can't be bothered to try and decode the thread which is now a complete f**king mess. It might as well be deleted and start again from scratch.

Most of the threads you start are just a load of illegible waffle, so it belongs in the Borini thread ;)

Remy failed a medical is what I've heard.
The SSN reporter mentioned that but 'sources close to the deal' were saying it was the collapse of the Borini move which killed it. He also went on to say Liverpool would be pursuing other targets so a slight contradiction. The 'sources' could be Remy's people attempting to divert attention from his ticker.

If he has rejected us we move on. Club have done everything they can with fee and desire to get the player. Unfortunately, the player believes he is better than us.

Would be a shame like, think he could have really enhanced his reputation here. Could get stuck in limbo at Liverpool as I don't see another club paying what we are.
I agree with all of that, and as for being in Limbo at Liverpool, if it's true the Remy deal collapsed because of Borinis reluctance to join us he could have dug himself a very big hole. As I can't imagine he will be popular with the management

He's going to be really unpopular at Liverpool, digging himself a bit of a hole isn't he?
It's his right to be fair. He is probably worthy of a move to a better one than us, battling relegation every year. It was always going to be a leap of faith on his part. Might still happen, you never know.

You've managed to decode a few so they aren't all bad.

My thought provoking threads usually attract a more up market poster. I'm finding this Borini situation is all rather vulgar, it's attracting all manner of uncouth bounders.

I agree it's his right, but if Liverpool really wanted Remy and if it's true Borinis reluctance to come to us has stopped the transfer then he's not going to be popular.
Lots of ifs admittedly

Or their fans. Hopefully he gets a shitload of stick then thinks, sod it, I'm outta here

^this is spot on imo. We need to give him a short deadline to accept or withdraw the offer

he had great support from fans last season, the club have done all then can to get him back, its the perfect chance for him to come for regular football but he has to want to come

if he genuinely wants to stay at liverpool then fair enough, we can go back in for him next summer because he won't get regular games for liverpool and nobody else will pay £14mill for him imo
