Link?I watched his first interview when he signed for Liverpool with interest. At the start of the youtube video (obviously I don't know if it was accurate) it lists that there were significant add ons for Liverpool to pay subsequent to the fee. I wonder if they have decided that the return will be very good if they don't have to pay those additional payments.
Further to that the interview was very interesting and told you quite a bit about the personality of Borini. He is an ambitious, clever young man who appears to have the perfect professional attitude. It was the third time that he had worked with Rodgers, he seemed to have great respect for him and I assume that he will listen to what Rodgers has said. I get the feeling that Rodgers is towing the clubs party line and by saying that Sunderland a great club as his club has agreed the deal but in reality he probably doesn't want to sell him. At the end of the video Rodgers is interviewed and he outlines Borini's strengths, quite interesting.
The usual sense from PSLiverpool fly out to the USA today. If he's not on the plane, we can relax.

and I think you'll find that we don't actually know the fee but if it's right, it is still about 50% more than that Massimo Maccarone cost some 12 years ago. not to mention that Alves fella Now I understand a Boro supporter warning Sunderland fans about "having their eyes out" and ending up in the Championship, so thanks for the advice, but if you could move along so we can discuss Premiership players whilst you can chat to your mates about the merits of Danny Graham, that would be great. Talking about Danny Graham, now that was having our eyes outI think you will find most football fans all over the country are laughing at the Borini fee, funny how you lot were laughing at the McCormack fee when it was done -

Rodgers obviously wants ridwho else are in for him? does Brendan Rodgers want him to stay at Liverpool? these are the issues that will determine whether he is a Sunderland player next season.
Can't be arsed reading the thread but Borini will be coming back, it was pretty clear last season that he loves us. Can't wait to see the handsome bastard back in the red and white.
