Borini

His agent is insisting that he's staying at Liverpool.

I remember Whelan making similar utterances about Cattermole.
All standard fare tbh.
If he makes statesments that Borini wants away before any bids are accepted he'll forego any loyalty payments etc due to it being construed he's asking for a move.
Agent is playing it smart imo

Anyone else bored titless of the Borini saga already?

If he comes fine, if he doesn't aww well.
Difficult to get bored when you couldn't give a shit in the first place. If he signs, champion, and we have a good player who will considerably boost the squad and fan morale. If we don't it wont be the first time we have missed out on a player and that's if we even have tried to get him in the first place.

He currently plays for a team which will be fighting for the title next year and playing in champions league. Lets be honest, it would be a big step down for him to move to a team fighting relegation. We should just let things pan out and trust Poyet knows best and not get caught up on individuals.

all depends if barca are going to blow £85m on Hannibal saurez

If they do then Liverpool will then blow a huge chunk of that on one maybe two strikers.

Borini will be no further up the pecking order, and possibly further down, and all that will happen is that any potential transfer to us will be delayed.

Bang on. They'll want and need a better striker than Borini to replace Suarez which may well leave him a bit disillusioned and play into our hands. We just need to compete with other clubs for him then

I think we wil sign him but it will be more than folk would be happy to pay, its not my money so if it costs £12.5m then so be it

money money money, blah blah blah, he'll be gone by the end of the deadline , not sure it's to us, it will come down to how much a club is willing to pay

Well I was talking to a lad that is a waiter at the SOL, he said he was waiting on Ellis's table last week and Borini's agent was also at the table, the kid seems an honest lad.

What the agent says is

"So far, Liverpool have not received any communication regarding his transfer."

Doesn't mean he's not signing just that no bids have come in yet.

Love Fabio me, can't see the point in haggling over a couple of million quid. He's only 23 so when he moves on we might even make a few bob on him.
