The only way the Borini deal could fall down is if we get a bigger offer from another club.

This is another one of those where everyone abuses me then says a few weeks later "Sorry, you were right Melly." ‪#‎borini‬

The report about Borini said he was angry at not being spoken to about the transfer. Complete bullshit. Trust me.

A few stories coming through about Borini rejecting Sunderland. Nonsense. He's been pushing for it. The move will happen. ‪#‎lfc‬ ‪#‎safc‬

Yeah. Playing for us last year really held him back. Just think, he could have played a total of a couple of hours at Liverpool and spent the rest of his time keeping the bench warm.

The hope so we are set up much better this year, with an established system and better players, to help him and Johnson play more effectively.
one thing for sure is Borini is a better player now than when he first came here

When De Fanti and his chums were here, Di Marzio definitely knew what was going on in regards to SAFC.

Since he left his two big stories on us have been: Vito demanding a transfer and that we were going to sack Poyet and replace him with Spalletti if we stayed up.

Oops.

^this, talks shite about us now.

Still be amazed if club have gone this far unless they had an indication from his agent that he'd come

i expect to see him sign now barring any daft bids late on

I doubt anyone will match our bid, or wages. The only fly in the ointment could arise if a club offering him a better chance of developing his career and skill set come along. He's leaving Liverpool, no question about that. So what do they do if say a club playing Champion's League football come along and offer them less money? If he wants to go to them what do they do, pay him for sitting in the stands? No chance IMO. It's down to what he wants.

I wanted Borini here as much as anyone, but if reports of him not being keen on the move are true, I'd rather we look elsewhere.

Hope it's all shite about him not being keen mind...

As I said, we can offer him "exposure". Playing for us doesn't appear to have helped him become a hot property mind.
