Its absolutely 10000000% true. It is because of his derby goals and the fact he tries hard that people cream themselves over someone who, whilst a good player, wasn't even our best player in one of the worst (league) seasons in recent times, and are accepting this deal as some sort of bargain.

Theres a reason why the rest of the country and Liverpools fans are laughing.

see my above posts. You've gone too the extreme end of the spectrum and picked our (arguably) two worst deals in the last 5 year.
do you agree he is a quality player

It's not worth arguing with your relentlessly negative tripe as you'll just make the same stupid point over and over but here goes.....12 million is about right for a highly rated 23 y/o who: Will improve/increase in value, has already proven himself to be a good fit for our team and wouldn't have to spend any time settling/adapting to the league.

The mags just spent 12 million on a player they hope can adapt to the Premier League who is completely unproven. We all know how much Fulham are paying for an overweight, unproven Championship player.

It's a reasonable fee, unfortunately a lot of our supporters have a hang up about spending money.

Did anybody else notice that Borini seemed to be making some good runs in the game today but there seemed to be a reluctance to pass him the ball?

I wonder if that's because his team mates know he is coming home and that he's driving the move?

:lol: whatever man. If he hadnt scored against the Mags the whole board would be up in arms about the fee.

Man speaky with forked tongue.

Aye couldn't give a monkies what we pay for who. I only want to see a good team on the pitch. It's not my money.

It's amazing isn't it, the bed wetters have crying for signings and when it happens they become picky about the fee.

You're being a little paranoid there Marvin.
I doubt anyone else in the world gives a toss how much we pay for a player. Its just people like you, its not your money, its the market mate.
I bought my house for £200k but me neighbour 10 years previously only paid £125k for his house that's identical to mine but he isn't laughing at me thinking I've been ripped off.

Seems to be that people based in Italy seem it won't happen but the British lot do, it is strange that he played today.

Romano was the decent source under De Fanti but after that ship sailed seemed off the pulse.

I could easily be getting him mixed with another Italian twitter journalist.

We'll get him at the end of August for a reduced price. The penny will drop that he will be spending the season in the reserves and Liverpool won't want a bloke on £50k a week on the wagebill doing fuck all

Assuming it's true like

Liverpool, Borini blocks the passage to Sunderland

DI Marzio saying he wants to stay at Liverpool for the time being and possibly see other options.

Having heard where these reports in Italy about Borini supposedly not wanting to join SAFC have come from, wouldn't believe a word of it

Tak that

@OptaYank Borini: 8 goals in 50 Prem matches. Overrated.
