Just reads to me that the red tops have been blathering on with no more insight into the deal than the rest of us, and now that there's positive news coming out about it they don't want to admit they've been talking bollocks. ;)

I've made up a new song for Fabio if he joins.
The first lines of each verse are sung by one half of the stadium, the bottom lines are sung by the other half. Also, oooo on the first line of each verse overlaps onto the second line. Also, everyone has to clap along at the same time, all the way through

Phoned up one of my ITK contacts and suddenly it all makes sense. The first round was dealt with by the CEO. Ellis asked for the security tapes and the grainy footage showed her wearing a skintight leather catsuit with cutouts advancing on a crouching figure who turned and leapt through the window knacking his shoulder. Short immediately phoned up Liverpool and between them agreed to stick him on the plane for the pre-season tour, 'accidentally' pick up the injury and jet him back for a new round of discussions. And some people on here reckon nowt goes on behind the scenes :eek:

357 thread pages on a possible signing, who if he comes, is better than what we currently have, but certainly is no world beater and is extremely over priced IMO! We do like chucking good money away and wonder why the owner doesn't sanction a lot of spending given how we struggle it seems to get value for money!
