He's EXTREMELY desperate to play international football and European football, he COULD get that at Liverpool if he gets a chance to play often, at us, neither will happen this coming season and probably not even next season. He'll likely be on a bigger wage at Liverpool and so might have to take a pay cut on his basic wage, he's just got engaged to a lass from Liverpool who likely works in the City there, so a move up to SAFC for them both could either see her travelling lots or her finding a way to move her career up here.

We aren't exactly singing huge international stars right now, in fact other than Seb Larsson, Jozy, Stephen Fletcher, and John O'Shea we no longer have any current international players. We might well have some players who are capped but no more that have been in their nations most recent squads.
The one thing we do have is that our Head Coach is/was beginning to get the majority of our team playing football and getting results from it so perhaps in 2-3 seasons and a few more signings, specifically in CM and a CB or then we might well get a European jaunt, can we promise that?
