I'm currently at schipol waiting for a flight back later tonight. I'll be sure to keep you all posted if I see owt
So you're not at CDG?
So you're completely wasting your time having a look?
OK i know the OP could be lying and he could be there anyway

Nope. I have looked at the situation and the quotes from various people involved and applied common sense.

You've been adamant he definitely isn't coming, has he told you this?
Mines an opinion , you have stated his reasons for the delay to which I find strange

Have your say!

SUNDERLAND target Fabio Borini is returning to the UK from Liverpool’s pre-season tour of America.

It has been more than a week since Sunderland agreed a £14million fee with Liverpool to re-sign the Italian, who netted 10 goals during last season’s loan spell at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has remained hopeful that the Black Cats will be able to agree personal terms with Borini, despite suggestions from his agent that he wants to remain at Anfield.

And Borini today confirmed that he is on his way back to the UK for treatment on the shoulder injury he sustained in Liverpool’s friendly with Roma in midweek.

“So bored in the hotel room waiting to fly back to England to recover as quick as possible!! #comeback #recovery #hardwork #desire” he tweeted.

Borini’s message will raise hopes among Sunderland fans that he is returning home for more than just medical treatment.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers had indicated on Thursday that Borini had only sustained bruising to his shoulder and would not be sidelined for long.

Rodgers said: “He will miss a few days training and won’t train for the remainder of the trip here in Boston. He’ll be available again in a few days.”

Flying back from America for "treatment" read into it what you will

Bit of a trek from Amsterdam to Paris but good luck anyway.

Sure I speak for all of us when I say thanks for your dedicated hard work on this.

Everytime I've flew home its via London. There's flights to Manchester and Glasgow during the winter but that's it

I'm on the other coast but the options I get are usually CDG, London or Schipol depending on airline.

Hope this is true as it's always fun to watch a load of know it alls get their backs up and turn out to be wrong.

Look at these quotes from Rogers and then remember he is apparently "Travelling back to England because of his injury"

Yep. Which is why he is taking his time. He is ambitious but he also wants to play. I'm happy for him to think it over but suspect once Remy and others arrive at LFC he will leave.

Lets hope you're right and he does sign, I can't say I'm confident of it happening due to the length of time he's already took to decide(8 days that we know of, probably more), I don't blame the lad as anybody would be reluctant to give up the possibly of Champions League football to move to a club that will most likely be mid-table at best next season.

I have the option for Amsterdam then NCL but there's never any direct flights. He could be doing something like that.

What's wrong with that like? Are you suggesting America has such things as airports, airlines and ticket printing machines because frankly that's just bollocks.

No not at all, it's just another outrageous example of how out of touch the modern footballer is. Hasn't he heard of a carbon footprint? The environment is going to hell and quite frankly people like Fabio Borini are the root cause. He makes me sick.

Not defending the OP as he's clearly a WUM but your talking bollox as well. I travel frequently with work and travel through CDG and Schipol a lot more than Glasgow Manchester and London, if you were final destination is Newcastle why would you fly to Manchester or Glasgow, don't think you could even get a flight to Newcastle from either of those airports!
I think I knew this (well Amsterdam), but never knew CDG would have been used rather than London.
I think I was presuming he wouldn't be going to newcastle anyway like.
Maybe he will, but I'd have thought he'd have been going to his place in the NW rather than straight to the club after travelling for a while.
Unless his lass has got him a place in the NE before he's signed a contract?

Withdraw the offer now
The longer this goes on the more we look like twats being mugged
