Ffs, them tweets to Borinis missus demanding her to say summat about all this is f***ing cringeworthy. Some right bells on twitter.
Some from Liverpool fans as well, poor girl

She'll be doing what she's been asked to do and keeping tight lipped, which suggests it's all still in the balance

I still think he'll come, he's not going to get a break there especially with the new signings they're bringing in. Personally i think it wont be till January, but i see it happening. Hopefully all of this hankie flapping now will manage to bring the price down too. No one can really say he's worth 14 mill. (I love him as a player/personality, but he surely cant be worthy of a fee that matches our highest ever paid???)
It's 10m rising to 14m based on how successful he is, isn't it?

Borini is a next level player for us, I dont blame him if he needs to think about the move given our track record in recent seasons, if we land him thatsa feather in the cap for Gus and the DOF.

If Borini wants to fight for his place at Liverpool good luck to him, given the effort, desire and passion he showed when a loan player at our club last season then for me no hard feelings if he turns the move down.

He'll be sitting on the bench if he stays at pool

Yeah you may well be right. In which case they're just trying to get the money back that they paid which to be fair is exactly what we seem to be trying to do with Scocco. Whatever the fee, and the business involved, it cant be denied that he boosted the quality of the squad, and other than a couple of the folk in this thread he was pretty much loved by everyone. As i said to start off with, i'm still hopefull!!

Which makes the dilly dathering even more weird.

Unless he is hoping for one of the italians clubs to come in for him. But nee way they're gonna stump up the cash we have offered

Maybe he rides it out with Liverpool, then see what sort of offers he gets in January. Looks like Liverpool want to sell him, so they won't be keen on anymore season long loan deals.

I'm not sure the club could be doing anymore. The player knows he's wanted, knows the fans love him so it's down to him.

If he doesn't want to come then so be it, we'll sign someone else.

Exactly.

However some people on here will find a way to turn it round on the club.
