Can someone please explain how he continues to get selected for England in any format.

Its beyond belief.
 

No idea. Complete cricketing madness. the lad has failed time and time again. Dare I say it but if he played for Durham he wouldnt get a look in but of course he plays for the Teachers Pet County - Essex.
 
Anyone know what his recent personal issues where to do with?

To be fair he has done well in the recent odi and 20/20 games however he isn't a test player
 
Good ODI player IMO but think hemay not get another test chance. Theres been nowt about his personal probs that ive seen anywhere incl twitter. Reet nosey sod me so would like to know too
