How much of the blame attaches to the manager isn't the point. He has to go because we cannot refuse to act after the worst result in more than a hundred years. And not even the excuse of it being a one-off sticks. Johnson carries the can. there can be no other outcome

Johnson out! Promotion my backside. I am digging deep to find a worde result than this. Worst in history, this is the Old Third Division North and we lost 6-0. I used to feel sorry for supporters of these clubs when I was a lad. Well now I really inow how they feel.

Regardless of whoever is brought in, regardless if they aren't even any better, there comes a point for the self respect of a famous club that a manager whose players performed like that has got to be fired. Failing to do so sends the message that it is somehow acceptable and once we believe that then there is no level to which we cannot sink
I think that this is a very good point personally. The club will be a laughing stock if they are seen to accept this type of performance.

I haven’t said that.

What I’ve said is that today - as was the case in the majority of other horror performances this season - I see a lot more player fault than tactical/formation problems.
You think the players get off the team coach after picking the team on way down & handing their selection to manager in dressing room?

Because having watched the game, and the way the players performed, I put that result much more down to the players not turning up, than any “formation” or tactic.

Is Johnson blameless? Of course not. Is he mainly to blame? No, I’m not having that like - the players were absolutely woeful. As Danny Collins (I think rightly) said, they just downed tools.

If the players downed their tools then the manager can be blamed for that. I could understand the last 5 minutes but they left their tools in the changing room at HT. We went in bad and came out even worse. God knows what happened but it didn't motivate them and god knows why they were out 5 minutes before Bolton either.

The complete lack of discipline lately is disturbing too, there's almost a fight every game lately and Johnson is the biggest prat at it. It's almost Sunday league bad at times.

Play-offs here we come. :evil::evil:
I said it was the playoffs about 5 games ago and got dogs abuse.
Anybody with half a brain could see then that we weren't consistent enough for a top two finish.
I said 3rd then and I still say third.
It's not good enough.

There's Danny Collins reviewing the goals and he just pointed out the obvious about Winchester not getting goalside for the 2nd. That's exactly what I said, as I simply said the 2 goals were players mistakes, though Hoffman probably thought ball was coming to him for the 1st. Collins didn't then go on about Johnson after the 2nd so go whinge about Johnson somewhere else 😂
Johnson should be playing the right back that he paid money for to play right back and not a centre midfielder. LJ pisses around with this team and thinks he’s pep, play players in their right position.

A manager needs to hold some fear with the players, LJ obviously doesn't ... Needs to go and we need a stronger character in, someone with Keanes presence but better at managing
Yep - we need a completely different culture at the top. All pally nickname bollocks is not what we need. Hopefully it's not too late to turn this around, but I now don't believe LJ is the right man for this job.

Possibly the poorest result in our history. 6 nowt in the 3rd tier man. Unacceptable
For me Johnson should be sacked tonight, not for today but for the fact that he has had a very good squad assembled for him on paper and yet these collapses keeps happening. He’s had his time.
