This is why all the LJ critics need to give their heads a wobble. You cannot legislate for horrendous individual errors.

The extent to which we continually become devoid of footballing ability and too many players at once have ‘poor’ games comes back to management.

Everytime we play a team that gets stuck in, we absolutely collapse.....soft as shite. AJ has to go tonight!
We have not exactly collapsed. Until the goal we had 60% possession, have let ourselves down with our last ball into the box, but have battle for a lot of balls, almost connected with these crosses and they score with their first shot on goal after a keeper howler.

Though they should have scored that while I'm typing this!

Meh, long way to go, lucky opportunistic goal against the run of play. Need to settle down now, and get on with it. Hilarious commentary, Boltonalona on view.

What led to that was a tendency to overplay at the back. Bolton's tails were up and now they lead, it also could have been two.

An individual error - absolutely, but the pressure was on because of the same old issues at the back and opposition teams know how we are so open and we give them easy chances.
