I know Johnson isn't the best manager but the 1st 2 goal have been down to players mistakes. Ignoring Doyle, the 1st I can be forgiving to Hoffman as the ball comes from a long way and the 1st bounce, about 12 yards from the box, takes it another 8 or so yards but the 2nd bounce it seems to slow up so didn't go as close to Hoffman.

However the 2nd goal is down to laziness from Winchester. He's already running back after Afolayan plays the ball and already has 2 yards on him. Yet he must have been jogging back and let Afolayan get ahead when the 2 come back into view and is 2 yards behind. It's only at the last second Winchester puts another spurt in but why not put the spurt in before that? It's laziness and playing the chance game as he could have easily kept in front of Afolayan who wasn't even running at full sprint either.

:edit: 3-0 now of course :(

Every goal ever conceded is an individual mistake. It’s the coaches job to put it right and get the right reaction front the players. This is a capitulation from a mid table side

That this is a horrendous performance, but we’l still be slap bang in the mix for the top two despite it.

Does that seem irrational, or am I looking at a different league table to everyone else?

I have a different take on the table, we are third the teams above us are clear on points with 2 and 4 games in hand. We are struggling away hugely and have conceded at least 3 goals in 5 games this season, is that top two form?

Another battering away from home. In the Third division.

0-4 Pompey, 1-5 Rotherham, 0-3 Sheff Wed, currently 0-3 Bolton with half an hour to go

Losing to Charlton at home when in bottom 3. Losing 1-3 at home to Lincoln. Throwing leads always TWICE to 10 men sides in the bottom 5. Losing 3 consecutive home cup games to 4th division opp (albeit one on pens with a weakened team).

I’m Johnson in, but I won’t criticise ANY fan having a pop.

He'll be under massive pressure now, he had options today and chose to stick with the usual players.

Defend who? Winchester getting caught under a ball that’s been in the air for ages, or Doyle for forgetting to stand within five yards of their centre forward?

There’s a difference between not allocating blame, and blaming one person for others’ failings.

No manager in the world would tell players to defend like that.

Mate, according to some on here every time we play badly it's" because of players making individual errors, the manager can't be blamed".

Yet every time we play well or get a good result it's "get behind the manager, he's doing a good job and it's unfair to criticise him".

We're getting howked and the only question is "how many?"

EDIT: That's 4.
Bolton playing to a system and its working - again.

I can't understand Johnson at HT. Why wouldn't you make any changes? Literally he just must have seen how bad that half was. Don't understand it keeping the same formation, shape and players at the start of that second half.
It's like Mic Mac starting Whitley and Robinson when he had Whitehead and Lawrence on the bench
