Boards of Canada

Ok, it's been a while now. What do we think ?

Underwhelmed I think is the word to use.

Nothing new or exciting, not even their best work imo, sounds like a collection of B-sides, if I had to say something positive, it'd be I like how they have made some of the lyrics/words into musical notes, like on Father and Son as posted above.

I'm torn....It's been my dog walking music the last week, and think my opinion changes each time I listen.

But, I don't think I love it as much as I'd hoped - sometimes it's like the song is just getting going, and it ends (eg Age of Capricorn)

Also reminds me a of Death in Vegas and Unkle for some reason in places....vocals are a bit Public Service Broadcasting too.....or maybe all of those are a bit BOC!

Feels like a Fillum soundtrack....Ahh...ah dinnar!
